So here is my litte dance star! She did so awesome for her first time! Trac, she told me I needed to do this last night because she KNEW you and Em would want to see it! She did it to the song "Baby I'm a Star" by Prince. She looked so stinking cute and nailed her Ariel which she was worried about!

All About Macee

So guess who just turned 9? My princess. I was taking down my Valentine decorations and putting up my Spring/St Patrick's day and I was looking for my "box" of decorations when I ran across these pictures. I was so excited and that's actually what motivated me to blog tonight which has been a huge success.... 3 hours and 5 posts later! I can't put into words how lucky I am to have Macee. She is one of the sweetest, most kind-hearted little girl that I know!!! When I went to Parent Teacher Conference this week we talked about academics and then her teacher asked if I had any questions for her. I said, "I know she is a good student, she is bright and does well... but most importantly I really want to make sure she is a good person." Her teacher almost got teary and told me several stories about how Macee goes out of her way to include anyone. She said that a girl had transferred before Christmas and wasn't fitting in and not wanting to come to school. She pulled Mace aside and asked her to befriend this girl to see if it would help. Macee did, willingly, and school is a good thing for this girl now.
I am proud of Macee.... Proud in so many ways of the young lady she is becoming. She is a hard worker..... very dedicate and very committed...

She is my bestest girlfriend in the entire world!

She is gorgeous, funny and wow... Just awesome! So here are a few things that I ran across... Most of you didn't ever know Macee as a baby/little girl so now you can see how stinking cute she was!!
This is the 1 moment in my life that I scrapbooked. Seriously... I have these pages for her and 2 pages for Mick!

This one could possibly be my favorite of all time! I loved her little hands under her chin. It's amazing that even at this young.... she was ALL ABOUT THE CAMERA!!

Okay... these 2 come in a close 2nd to my favorite! She had the cute leather coat, tight little black pants and tall boots.... and her hair... where did my baby go?

Look at those chubby fingers!!! LOL!!!

She was bawled until she was like 2... I swear!

It's killing me remembering her this small! I love you Macee Moo with all my heart!
BTW - Macee had her first dance competition this weekend. They took Platinum (which is the highest) in all 4 dances! It was great! Macee is going to be doing HER FIRST SOLO this weekend! She performs Thursday at 4:30 out at The Barn (Thanksgiving Point). If anyone wants to come cheer her on... I am sure she would love it!

Our Trip to Idaho

So Eric's Grandpa has had a few health issues over the past several months that reminds us that we probably need to take a weekend and go visit if we can! So not only did we have a weekend open BUT we had a party to go to also. Again, sorry for the random order... it's not letting move these pictures which is driving me insane! We can't go to Idaho without taking the boys to Grandpa's farm. They have a bizillion cows and my boys love it. Murphy has a little "animal obsession." I thought he was going to go head first into this pile of mud/cow poop/cow pee! NASTY!!! This is Macee and her cousin Olivia. They only see each other maybe once a year but they are so stinking cute together! They are so alike and love the same things!

My gorgeous SIL in her (or shall I say McKaylas) footie jammies. Will she ever grow up? We sure hope not because she is so thinking fun! And always good for a laugh!

Packing Murphy with Style.
I LOVE this picture of Tate and Murphy!
The buddies! This is Maddog and Tyson. They were inseparable the entire weekend and played outside in the snow all day every day!
2 Madsen Princesses on their sled.
Murphy, Macee, Mays and Peighty.
Love this pic of Peighty!
Is this not the biggest snowman you have ever seen?
The snow was good in Idaho!!!
You never stop laughing when we all get together. This is Eric's aunt Martha and her daughters. They threw Mart a surprise party and the house was packed. It really was so much fun!
Murphy and Ellee eating on Grandma and Grandpa Callister's floor.

Murphy "literally" kissing the cow. We told him to say goodbye to the cow and this is what he did! Amazing I captured it! Isn't it the Cutest, Grossest pic you have ever seen? Can't wait until our next trip!

Happy New Years!

We decided to have some friends over for New Years and have a small get together. I guess get togethers are never small when even just our family is involved! We had a blast!!! The older boys held their own New Years Eve basketball tournament.... The girls just had fun running around and being silly....
Melanie tried not to fall asleep as midnight approached but looked as though she was struggling... it's always hard to stay awake when you have a cute little man fall asleep on you...
Jess tried everything she could do just beat someone in Hoops. She finally found that the only one she could beat was Maddog.... and then now that I think about it... he beat her too!!! And she is a sore looser... (totally kidding).

And cute Halle just wanted to sip on her moms Coke! It was hilarious! We really did have so much fun! I think Sommer thought we were crazy when she walked up and saw Jess and I singing our lungs out to American Idol on the Wii! I kinda sit here and smile just thinking about it!
The clock struck 12 and we had crazy kids run up and down the street with their noise makers!!! I knew the neighbors were out of town so we just let them do their thing! Good food... Good fun... Good friends!

Christmas 2009 Recap

For my loyal followers, I apologize. I haven't fallen of the face of the earth... I just haven't sat down to breath for a few months! So I was totally going to skip Christmas and just do Macee's birthday but for journaling purposes I decided I really needed to do a quick recap... So... this will be a whirlwind but it is worth remembering! So the pictures are going to be in random order because for some reason I am not able to move them around and don't want to take the extra time to figure it out!!! Our friends, the Eyre's, came to Utah this Christmas and we were able to go spend the afternoon with them at a cabin they had stayed at! We hadn't seen these guys (I and the kids anyway) for over 2 years and were so excited to visit.
Poor Willie was the victim of WWE! The thing we shall always remember about that night is the kids waiting and waiting for the go ahead to go downstairs and get in the hot tub. Rachel and I were getting our little guys ready to go down and Mick, Macee and Maddux had headed downstairs. They were not in the hot tub for more than 30 seconds when all power went off... on the ENTIRE mountain! So the kids are freaking out and Rachel and I are trying to calm them down when across the back porch (which was just big glass windows) we see a shadow walking by. For a brief second it was straight out of a horror movie and I'm like, "Rachel, what should we do?" So we yell at the boys and try to tuck the kids behind us or the corner when suddenly..... Dun Dun Dun... the owner knocks on the door. We visited in the dark for awhile longer and then left Willie and Rachel to survive alone in the cabin without heat or light. We did offer our home but fortunately for them, the power did come on a few hours later. Thanks for the memories guys!
This was the ride up to see the Eyre's. Macee sporting her new headphones and playing her new DSi that she got for Christmas.

The boys got their dream cars! Thank goodness we don't have to play with the neighbors pink jeep anymore!!! They were so excited and we did spend much time outside in the cold Christmas morning!
Die Hards!
Happy... yet tired? I actually had to go wake up the kids at 7 am!! What's up with that? I love these kids!
The next few pics are of Christmas Eve with the Madsens. This is Maddux and his cousin Preston putting together their nativities.
And or course, our Macee!

This is Grandma, Mason and Mays doing their nativities.
Little Cameron is twice this size now but I couldn't get over his cute jammies. Look at those feet! He is such a stinking cute little man!
And this is Grandma telling the Nativity Story to the kids. They were very intrigued!!
The next set of pictures are spending the 23rd with my family down in Cleveland. My brother, Clint, had just got this puppy for his little guy Quayd and poor Murphy would not let him go. He was so cute and soft with him but this is honestly how he sat for an hour! He was not happy when Buddy had to leave.
My dad will kill me but oh well.... Family photo in the jammies. So cute huh?
All the kiddos building their gingerbread houses.

Kaitlyn, Mick and Kayden ready to head home after tubing.

Sweet Kaitlyn... It was so great to have her down for the holidays! All the kids were ecstatic and loved spending the short time we had with her! I hope and pray her sister will join us next year!
Another goofy family picture.
I just think this is the cutest pic ever of my Murphy Man!
What is that Grandpa doing? Anyway the kids were hooked up. They would tube down the hill and then Grandpa would come down in the Rhino and pick them up and take them back to the top of the hill!
My brother and Murphy! I was glad he helped us throw this together. The kids had a ball!
My 3 boys! Yes... Murphy is in pink! All these boys and the only size we could find that fit Murphy was pink! He didn't care... he couldn't get back up the hill fast enough. We had such wonderful holidays and feel so blessed to be surrounded by our family! BTW - I loved all the Christmas Cards.... It's my favorite thing ever to get all the cards and see all these cute families!
