More Pictures

So... another week has come and gone at the Madsens. Thank goodness to Carrie, who loves her kids enough to take a camera to their athletic events. It's not that I forget to bring it... I just know between fighting with Mays and Murphy to keep them on my lap and out of trouble I wouldn't get very good "shots." So... thanks Carrie, I stole these pictures off her blog. Maddux is now in his 2nd week of Jr Jazz. He and his dad have mandatory practice out in the garage daily. Eric doesn't make it mandatory.... Maddux does. Our ceilings are super high in the garage and it goes back really deep so Mick got a new hoop for Christmas and it is the "Hot Spot" for not only my boys but for friends also!!! Maddux is a ball hog. I am not sure that comes from being young or a Madsen!!! He is so fun to watch. I need to get a video of his defense... he's pretty intense!!! This is his buddy Jaxon aka Wacky!!! I seriously love watching Wack pick up his dribble and then just look around.... everywhere for Maddux. It's so stinking cute. Too bad his friend Maddog doesn't look for him... he just looks straight for the basket. We finally told him for every time he shoots he has to pass... he didn't listen all to well!!! I loved this picture of Wacky. These little boys think they are so COOL!!! It's finally their time in the spotlight!!!

This is my pretty little girl with an earring. My boys thought it was hilarious to put this little stick-on earring on Murphy's ear!!! He didn't seem to mind at all!!

I was able to go on a field trip with Macee. They went to the Discovery Gateway Museum. VERY COOL place for all you moms who are brave enough to venture out with your kids. You probably all know about it cuz it's so cool. I am totally taking my boys there. They would think that was the coolest place ever! Anyway, this is Macee being the next anchor for channel 5 (our channel of choice BTW)!

Couldn't forget the picture of the guy holding the tarantula!! My boys have been begging for my camera all week to see the "pider"! They will be so sad to find the pic has been moved to the computer tomorrow!! I asked Macee to give it a kiss so I could take a picture and she just wasn't feeling up to it I guess!

Okay... now for some more of my interior decorating!! I am super excited for the latest wall I decorated. These are the full pictures of my kids that are on the side of my blog. I wish you could see the different colors such as ribbon, wreath and bows in more detail because it is totally awesome!!! Not bragging, Shari pretty much helped me out with this one! Here is the pic of the wall around the corner. For any of you in need of a new picture these are AWESOME!!! This was a Christmas gift from me.... to me!!! They used to sell these in Deseret Book for over $400. Have friends that bought them!!! These were at Costco for $199!! And to top that off, you get the personalization for free. I know you can't read it but in the top right corner it reads, "The Madsen Family sealed 1999." and it's a pic of the Bountiful temple. My friend told me the other day that Deseret Book will now match their price. It's an American Fork based company and they have more than temple pics. I'll have to get their website and post it!!! This one is HUGE!!! You can get them in any size!Last but not least, a brief glimpse of the laundry room after a day of laundry. Have you ever seen a stack of towels that high? I am in love with my red, bead board cabinets but am slowly finding out I will never be able to really show them off because they will be piled with laundry from here until eternity!!!

Ok I am loving your house!! I really want to see it. And I have been looking for a Temple picture so I need the website. That is so funny that you know Erika. I was always intimidated by her because she was so beautiful. I had fun at breakfast the other day. We need to do something like that again.

Your decorating looks awesome! I would love to live that close to Rod Works. I love that store! I'm probably saving lots of money by living where I live! I have one of those temple pics too and I love it. Please don't tell me you own a tarantula. Or was that at the museum? I can't handle spiders of any kind. Anyway, keep posting pics of your deocrating! It's fun to see your ideas!

I'm really glad I got to see the laundry room before it got covered! :) I love the red too! I like the wall hanging with the kids pictures. It looks good. And I can't imagine why Macee wouldn't kiss the spider! Would you want to kiss that fuzy thing? I love the Jr. Jazz pics. The little friend looks like a tough guy!

I love all the pics! Your interior decorating skills are awesome! I need you to come to my house and help me. You know how envious I am of your laundry room. Those red cabinets are darling but I don't want your laundry, I have enough! At least all of it is folded. I am really impressed!

Oh. my. gosh. I want to eat those red cupboards. They look so yummy candy apple red. And FRONT LOAD ENERGY EFFICIENT washer and dryer?!!! You're killin' me here.

Got your card today in the mail. So adorable! I loved reading about all the kids. Sounds like everyone stays busy at your house. Don't know how you do it all. I can barely keep track of 3 kids' schedules. They are lucky little kiddos.

I absolutely love the decor. I really don't have a knack for that kind of thing. I like that it looks nice and it also shows how cute your kids are i the process! I'm loving the laundry room. So cute! Laughing at the stack of towels :) ! Sorry I have been out of the loop for so long. I have decided I may not go private anymore, I have another idea! More work, but you still get best of both worlds, maybe. I love your blog, I don't know how you do it all...amazing!!

Hey! At least your towels are folded. Mine would be on the floor not washed. I love your wall pictures. You did a great job. I LOVE the red cabinets. You are so daring. Sometimes that Passing thing for basketball is tough. Bayler the 5th grader still takes it to the basket without looking. Brink yells, I think she is starting to hear. Karen
