Maddux Update

Sorry for being the laziest blogger in the world!! I never thought I would be one of those "bad" bloggers!! HEHE!!! So I apologize for ever giving any of you a hard time! But look... 3 posts in 1 night/morning (see below). Taking a week off work has really put my life BEHIND!!! I have been working crazier than usual hours and so ok... no excuse but hopefully will be better! We had Maddux home for a week and thought he was doing great. Beside the fact he was getting freakishly skinny... he was doing good. I wanted to post a picture of when we did family pictures and then how skinny he is now. 13 lbs might not sound alot but when it's 25% of your body weight it's pretty sad!!! Maybe I should try not eating for 8 days straight and it would help me loose weight... NO WAY!!! So here's the comparables...

BEFORE

AFTER
And Mays wanting to get in on a little photo action with Maddog!

Isn't that crazy? Anyway after about 8 days of being home he makes a turn for the worse and was in horrific pain... we kept calling the doc and he said it's normal... this wasn't normal... he was shrieking in pain all the time. We went one day and did blood work... we went the next and did a cat scan... the next day... oh well, he was good again! This I am glad for!!! He is still in pain but has recovered pretty well! He forgets to take things slow and plays to hard but pays for it later. I think he is learning. Wow is it hard to keep him down! Thanks to all the family and friends that ask about him and are concerned!!! I think we are good... FOR NOW!!!

Oh... and I forgot my little leprechauns!!! McGwire was at school but my boys love to spray their hair green on St. Patrick's day! Ta Ta for NOW!

I was beginning to worry about you but I knew that you had your hands full and would be back. I'm so glad to hear that Maddux is finally feeling better. Kids are such a big worry for their parents and I hate to tell you this but it never ends. Plus the worry over grandkids is worse. With Easter upon us I'm sure that he will put the weight back on.
Welcome back, you have been missed.
Love you

Wow, I had no idea.... that is so scary. I am so glad he is feeling OK. Sorry, but you can't take credit for being the laziest blogger in the world, the position is already full!

Poor Maddog. I can't believe how much weight he lost.... I agree with your mom. He'll be loving all the Easter candy and probably put a lot of it back on. My little sister, Natalie, was sick when she was around 2 1/2....and she had always been such a chubby little kid and it completely thinned her out. I can still remember that. He has such a sad face in the first "after" picture....so it adds to the whole effect, huh?? He's going to be a little actor. :o) We've all been so worried about him though, and I'm glad all the tests have come back normal. It's hard to take it easy when you're used to being such an active little guy. Just wait until baseball season starts for him. He'll be back to normal in no time! :o) I love their green hair and all the catch up posts. I'm still misty eyed over Murph turning ONE. I am still in DENIAL. I'm waiting for your post about your new favorite show, too. :o) I still haven't watched this week's episode. I was WAY too busy watching that cool gametracker thing last night. ha ha

Ok, I am glad you posted because I was about to send you a mean little comment (ok, not mean but nagging). Your kiddo's totally crack me up! Green hair and all. I don't even want to think about my baby being 1!!! I think I will deny it for now. Glad to hear everything is getting better.

I love all of your posts! I am just going to comment on this one and have it count for all of the others! I still remember when you told us you were pregnant with Murph! That seems like it was yesterday! He is such a cute baby and I love his red hair! McGwire is seriously the sweetest boy! Chloe just loves him and I love that he will hug me and love on me at any time! We definitely need to have him come over to play.

I'm so glad Maddog is feeling better! I bet that was such a scare when he was complaining of pain. I'm glad it all turned out good and he is on the mend. And don't worry about not blogging for awhile. I have been horrible! I can't seem to keep up with life and I completely understand where you're coming from. You won't get any crap from me!
