Thanks to our good friends, the Christenesens this is what McGwire put on the morning of the big game (BYU vs. UVU)! This is the first time this shirt had been put on in our home. Of course we don't OWN a BYU shirt but Jason decided to sneak it in a bag of PJ's Carrie gave to the boys. Anyway, I told him he couldn't wear it and he asked if he could call Eric and ask his dad. Eric just giggled.
Anyway, besides the fact that we had a great win against BYU that night it was just a great evening! What a tribute to coach Gardner. There was a record crowd and he had several past players there to honor him. Hopefully in one of the pics in the slideshow below you can see how there were several guys down on the field. They were past players or men that had coached with Gard in the past.
It was a great night. I told Eric it was weird to think that the next home game he would be the head coach.

What a cute little Cougar he is!! ;o) I told Jason that story....and he just laughed. I'm glad you guys had such a great night. I'm glad your team won....and the weather was good....and everything else fell into place. My kids were bummed out about the "rain out" last night for city league. They were all dressed up to see YOU. It was funny.... I told Jaxon maybe he better not wear that to the game, and he said, "Jessica WANTS to see my Yankee outfit". I was laughing. Anyway, I hope you've had some fun with Eric around...and I hope you're feeling good. :o)

Congratulations! all around on new baby and head coaching! We were excited to hear about both.
Since we will soon have a grandchild down that way I am sure we will make a trip or two and will manage to fit in a game here and there. It would be fun to see you all again!

Whew, I finally caught up on all your posts. Sounds like you have been pretty busy lately! I need to come see how much the little guy has grown!!! I think you are a GREAT mom and am so glad that you can celebrate Mother's day this year, they should do it twice a year for special people like you!!! Keep up the great work, I hope Murph sleeps better soon!
