My kids had a ball at the Callister Farm. We saw everything from horses, baby horses, cows, calves, sheep, pheasants, puppies.... wow where they intrigued. I mean seriously, if you look at the group picture you can see that the wind was blowing sideways but that didn't matter. We started down on the cow farm. Mays was very excited at first until a calf licked his hand and then he was scared to death. He would stand about 3 feet away and just Moooo at the cows as loud as he could. Mick and Maddog were very comfortable with letting the calves lick their hands until slobber was going down both sides (ooooh gross!) Gwire and Macee just liked running from cow to calf! After Mays decided he was a little uncomfortable he found comfort in Grandpa Lovell's arms. He LOVED his grandpa!!! We then went up to Justin's house (a cousin) and he was raising about 50 baby pheasants. Macee was funny... she didn't want them actually touching her hands yet she wanted to hold them. Gwire was so afraid of their little feet he held them upside down. For you who have children you will know when I say, it was seriously just awesome!!! You could see the excitement in the kids eyes!! We really need to visit more often.
