We've Got Spirit Yes We Do....

So... Big week for the UVU Baseball team. Monday night we hosted BYU! Final Score 7 - 2 Wolverines!!! WOO WOO!!!! Maddux has been growing his bald head out for a month now knowing that on this special night, his mom promised a true mohawk!!! I couldn't "not" keep this promise so to the clippers we went!!! I told him he could have it for 1 night and then we were shaving it off. It's Friday and still there. Hopefully I get time today because I'm really not the Mohawk mom! Not saying it's bad but I actually make him wear a hat anytime we go into public! You must admit... he looks pretty studly!!! He got many "oohs" and "aahs" at the ballpark that night....

But he wasn't the only one!!!! Once we had painted Maddux's face we weren't getting away with not painting the little brothers!! So paint we did.... What a great night? We are die hard fans right? Or simply just crazy? Did I mention we won?

Most kids run from Willie the Wolverine... Not Murphy.... he followed him around ALL night!! Poor Willie. The night was gorgeous... the weather fabulous... the outcome... spectacular... did I mention we won?Tuesday night we hosted University of Utah... Great Game... not the same great outcome. We lost (I will not mention that again!) But the highlight of the night was senior night!!! I didn't get any pictures which really stinks... I am hoping that maybe a good friend of mine got some (Lacey???). I usually always get the seniors with Eric but there wasn't alot of excitement after the game and they guys just made their way into the clubhouse to get changed... so boys... you know who you are... I will be taking pics in Hawaii!!! My friend Carrie did ask me to make sure I got a picture of Bub and Josh (one of our favorite seniors)! Matthew was really drawn to Josh from day 1 when he first attended a UV baseball camp! He was so excited to be able to watch Josh in his last debut at home!!! If your going to have an idol... you can't ask for a better one than Josh Hinckley!!! And last but not least. The one and only.... Slam Dunk Murphy!!! His all time favorite thing to do right now is play hoops! We got him the cutest basketball hoop for his birthday from Toys R Us. We have had several little boys adjustable hoops but this is the smallest (not the one in the picture obviously!!). If he reaches high enough he just puts that basketball through the hoop each time. When we are in the garage playing, Eric will hold him up and he will honestly hang on the hoop forever!!! What a stud!

Eric is out of town in Colorado! We will simply be doing ball games on Saturday..... Oh and holy cow... I forgot the best news!!!! Our House... ya know the one that we have been holding on to (not by choice)!! Well.... SOLD!!!!!!! Yay to not having to make 2 mortgage payments!!! I know we had alot of family and friends praying for us so Thank you Thanks you Thank YOU!!!

I love the mohawk! I really wanted to go to the game on Monday but Creed had city practice. I should have gone without him. And I wish I were a professional photographer. I love to practice though and would love to take pictures of your adorable kids anytime.

Jess,
I do not think you are crazy on ebit-we've done that for many a Steeler games and cougar games -though the blue would not have been the popular color on your night hee hee.

Glad to see you kids are all helathy.

You are such a nice mom. And wife. We will hopefully be at Eric's second home next weekend. Your kis are getting so big. You have to be pretty cute to pull off a green mohawk! I don't think I'll try it though.

OH, I love those pictures! What a fun post. I love the mohawk! Maddux looks awesome...and I love all the faces being painted and the green hair, too! You forgot to mention how Macee won that dance contest!! (and the tickets!!) That is so awesome!! Anyway, Bub had SO much fun at those games. Thank you for letting him go w/you guys. He has enjoyed getting to know those guys. What a great group of guys...who treat all the kids so well. I love that. Thank you for taking those pictures of Bub and Josh. I am actually going to do a post about what a great guy Josh is...and the way Bub looks up to him....when I update my blog sometime this year! ha ha Anyway, I really appreciate you taking those for me. I wish I could have gone to the games, too. I did enjoy watching the little green men on GameTracker. ha ha I was so happy for you guys on Monday and so sad on Tuesday. I am SO happy your other house sold. What a relief for you guys. I hope the weather is nice this weekend, so you can get your baseball games in. I hope we can get the football game scheduled around Mick and Calvin's schedules, too. You should have bragged about Mick in your post, too. He had an awesome defensive play on Saturday in a BIG game! I was so proud of him! I probably embarrassed him too death by cheering for him so loudly...but it was awesome. Even Bella cheered her guts out for "her Mitty". ;o) Remember, you can leave Murphy with me on Saturday if you need to. We don't have anything going on...and we'd LOVE to have him. You know we love him. I hope I see you tomorrow night!
